  • Prerequisets -
  • .... You know how to navigate librarys, load and manipulate characters.
  • ..... This is covered in in this tut here.
  • .
  • First up lets have a look at the product page at DAZ
  • Notice this package not only has the room prop but also includes:
  • .... Room Props
  • .... Camera settings - for the Aux Camera
  • .... and light setting
  • Also check the ReadMe that came with the package for more info like adjustable French Doors.
  • Here's where my product is installed.
  • Open up Poser
  • Load in the Boudior which can be found in the Library:/Props/Digital Muse Boudoir
  • You cannot see the prop because the main camera is too close to it so lets adjust:
  • the camera position and prop so we can have a good look ath the room.
  • This will give us an idea of the rooms layout.
  • Now we have had a look at the model let's get to work.
  • (1) Start a new scene.
  • (2) Load in the Gold Boudoir
  • (3) Switch to the Library: Cameras/Digital Muse Boudoir and activate the "Top View " Camera
  • This is the "Aux" Camera as per the ReadMe
  • Now we will import a "Poser Person". A Poser figure I have saved before.
  • Start at the file Menu
  • My Character was saved wit the face camera so .....
  • We will need to reset the camera so switch back to the "Aux" camera.
  • Here is our figure looking from " Top View" camera
  • To get a better view load in Camera "French Doors 01"
  • Save your work... I didn't
  • Now lets reposition our lady.
  • Lets now bring in a Prop.
  • From our Library: Props/Digital Muse Boudoir load in a chair
  • and position it.
  • Save your work ..... I didn't
  • Now lets set up our Aux Camera for a render.
  • Save your work
  • Lets set up the lights. Start by deleting all the existing lights.
  • The load in the default lights for the Library: Lights/Digital Muse Boudoir
  • This is what our scen looks like before rendering.
  • Mine is a little different because I didn't save my work so I had to do it all again!
  • Render your scene and save the render as a picture with a transparent background.
  • Either in ".tif" or ".PNG" format.
  • Here is mine composited in PSP
  • .
  • And here is one I did earlier using the same set
  • "Time to say goodbye"
  • Exercise - Create your own scene with on or more people in an architectural setting.
