P5 P6 Creating a character for beginners.

• You will need Poser 5 or Poser 6
• A 2d Paint program. I use PSP 7

 

Open up Poser Lets have a look at the interface My Windows screen is normally 1280x960 , however for this tut it is 1024x768 You may want to move the camara back a bit to fit the figure into our document window. Camera controls are on the left.

2. Lets make our view into the world of Poser a little larger - Resize the document window.

3 Lets get rid of the ground shadow in our document window.

4 Now lets get rid of the default character.

5 Now navigate to Judy and load her in to your Poser scene

Open up our Parameters dial window - This gives us fine control over objects in our Poser set.

Lets Rename the figure we just loaded in.

This saves a lot of confusion - especially in larger scenes.

Lets bring some clothes into the scene.

We havn't put them on Judy yet so that's why they look like this.

Rename the clothing we just brought into the scene,

Now we need to put them on - We "conform" conforming clothes. Make sure you have the clothes selected.
